Our Home Inspection Services
Home Purchase Inspection
We use an easy to read and understand check box reporting system. Our computer-generated report includes
digital photos and is color coded. Our report includes both a marginal and defective summary. Best of all, there’s
no waiting. Your completed computerized report is available the day of inspection. All major components of the
home and it's structure will be inspected.
Mold and Air Quality Testing
Martin Home Inspection Services is trained and certified by ESA to do swab and air quality testing. A swab test will
identify if any “red flag” areas are mold and if they are a health risk. The air sample will identify any elevated mold
counts in the home and also will give you the general air quality of the home. You will receive your results within 3
business days and we are always happy to help you read them.
Radon Gas Testing
Radon gas is the second largest cause of lung cancer. You cannot smell it, but it can be detected with professional testing
methods and corrected. Martin Home Inspection Services is state-licensed to perform radon gas testing. This is a two-
day test that requires the structure to be under “closed house conditions” for 12 hours before the test and the 48 hours
of the testing procedure. We take all of the precautions to ensure that these requirements are met by the occupants of
the property. We use a continuous monitor that is tamper proof and will be able to tell us if the closed house conditions
were maintained during the testing period.

New Construction Inspection
Kristian Martin has more than 20 years’ experience in the home building industry, and thus brings special expertise to
these inspections.
The new construction inspection is similar to a home purchase inspection with the addition of phase inspections that
would be done at different stages of the building process. Typically, the phased inspections occur at when the foundation
is being poured, before the home is insulated, after the house is insulated, and at time of completion. The final inspection
is a very meticulous inspection, as everything should appear and function as new. There should be no defects and all
components should be completed to industry standards.
Maintenance Inspections
Regular maintenance inspections can dramatically cut down the cost of maintaining your home by catching minor defects
before they become major, costly problems. As in our purchase inspections, we use an easy to read and understand
check box reporting system. Our computer-generated report provides you with an over 200-point check of the home’s
components. It is color-coded and includes both a marginal and defective summary.
Pre-listing inspections
When you’re selling your home, you want it to show at its best. The less a home inspector finds, the better your
home will look to the prospective buyer. Our 200-point check of your home’s components will ensure that you
catch and correct minor defects before they become a bargaining chip for the home purchaser, and provide you
with the peace of mind that your home will show at its best – inside and out.
Final walk thru assistance
As in final inspections on new construction, all components are expected to function and appear new. Or, this can be a
re-inspection to confirm that the seller has completed and corrected defects from the previous inspection.
Component Inspections
Only specified components of the structure are inspected.
Camera inspection of waste lines
This inspection informs you of any major deficiencies in the main waste line. This may include tree roots,
excessive build up on pipes, shifted pipes, and major clogs.
